Your Wedding Look Timeline

6 Months Before the Wedding
- Contact Making Waves to ensure your wedding date is available
- Schedule your wedding party with Making Waves
3 Months Before the Wedding
- Confirm all appointments with your wedding party & Making Waves
- Schedule your Bridal Consultation and/or Practice Run for 3-4 weeks before your wedding day
You will need the following for your practice run:
- Any headpiece or hair accessories
- A photo of your dress
- Bring pictures of hairstyles you like and have multiple options in mind.
- Discuss with your stylist the aspects you appreciate or dislike about each style to determine the perfect look for your special day.
Please Note: Any practice runs of hair or makeup are an additional charge that is separate from the wedding date services.
2 Weeks Before the Wedding
- Have your highlight, hair color, haircut, waxing services done
1 Week Before the Wedding
- Make sure your hair pieces/accessories are ready for your day!
- Have your eyelash extensions filled
Wedding Day
It's Finally Here!
Above all, our aim is to offer you exceptional service in a relaxing environment. Arriving early allows you to fully embrace the moment, creating a serene start to your wedding day and helping us achieve our goal of providing you with an unforgettable experience!
Day Of Instructions
- Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. (Please take note of the Policies)
- Arrive with your hair clean and dry.
- Advise all members of the bridal party to wear button-down shirts.
- Stay caffeinated and hydrated with the provided coffee & water.
- You're welcome to bring breakfast items and juices. Kindly inform your Making Waves wedding coordinator in advance so that we can arrange a designated space for your refreshments.
- Bring pictures of hairstyles you have in mind to ensure you receive the look you want from your stylist.
- Bring any hair accessories.
- Take a breath, relax, and let us pamper you on your special day!
Policies
Kindly note that cancellations must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the scheduled event. Cancellations made with less than a two-week notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total cost of the scheduled services.
No-shows will be charged in full.

Payment Details
We split payments into two parts:
Pre-Wedding Payment
Upon booking your wedding party, a completed and signed wedding contract (reference Making Waves Wedding Agreement) is required, as well as a minimum deposit of $20 per person. This deposit will be applied to your wedding day styles and is non-refundable.

Day of Event Payment
On the day of your wedding, the remainder of your account balance will be due.
Wedding parties of six or more will have a 20% gratuity added to your style charges.
Acceptable forms of payment are cash, credit/debit card, or check.
